Black screen with sound on Crysis 2 launch?

I have this problem with a new copy of crysis 2 I bought. I have a Radeon ATI HD 6870 and Windows 7. Any ideas on how I could fix this problem?

what kind of processor do you have and how much ram?

A black screen usually means that your pc does not have the minimum system requirements.



You need at least a 2 ghz core 2 duo or dual core cpu. 2gb of ram and dx9 or higher installed.



If you do not have those requirements, you will get sound and a black screen. Thats it. Your Graphics card is more than enough, so your good on that end.
